Xiao Bao's Year-End Awards Ceremony 🌼🥇🥈 A huge thank you to Si Bijak for providing my little darling with such a wonderful, patient, and warm learning environment. Every day he comes home saying he's going to school tomorrow, and every night he sings the songs he learned at school to lull me to sleep. Every night he also gossips about school, what he ate, what he learned, what happened at school, and they have endless stories to tell.

Originally, we couldn't send our son to the awards ceremony because of his tutoring 🫣 But the teachers talked to us several times, hoping he could come because he won the gold award in his age group 😥 As parents, we understand the importance of "being seen" for our child, so we decided to let him skip school for a day and accompany him to this little ceremony ❤️

When we arrived, we discovered that he not only won the gold award, but he also received several other awards:

1. Academic Improvement Award – Gold

2. Best Voice Award – Silver

3. Clean & Tidy Award

4. Best Voice Costume Award

5. Brave Speaker Award

6. Honesty Award

The award names may seem funny and strange, but they represent the qualities and performances the teachers have observed in his daily work. Seeing our child being recognized made our son especially happy 🤭
Honestly, at this stage, I'm not particularly fixated on gold or silver awards. What I care about more is:

✅️ Whether my two little ones can master Chinese, English, and Malay more quickly

✅️ Whether they can recognize more new words

✅️ Whether they can build confidence in their studies

Awards are just encouragement; growth is the main focus 🎓 Watching his small figure standing on the stage, I only feel:

I hope that in the new year, my little ones will continue to shine bravely 💛
